Position Description:

The Enterprise Architect must have experience creating enterprise-level strategic business and technology solutions and working with technical architects to devise and define strategic solutions. In depth knowledge of business applications, applications development methodologies, database principles and techniques and hardware/software operating systems is required.

Will collaborate across the enterprise at all levels to align the long-term services, technology, and applications strategy with the firm's long-term business strategies.

Will support activities associated with defining services, developing the architecture, updating the architecture to account for technology and business requirement changes, and ensuring compliance with the architecture.

Develop and maintain the Architecture Stack to include:

  • Tactical (1-3 years) Services/Capabilities/Implementation roadmaps
  • Strategic (4-7 years) Services/Capabilities/Implementation roadmaps
  • Long-Term (8-12 year) Service/Capabilities Roadmap

Skills Required:

  • 10+ Years of architecture experience, in a financial services IT organization. Experience in the areas of enterprise architecture needed is: platforms, networks, applications, application security, and identity and access management.
  • Future needs may also include data architecture and modeling, enterprise architecture modeling, high performance computing, and data center design. Strong Application background in either java or .NET. Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills Desired:

  • Experience using mainframe DB2, Virtualization, high performance and high availability computing.
